When you arrive at Rønnede Kro, you are immediately greeted by a soothing atmosphere. The premises are not overcrowded with tables, so you can avoid sitting cramped in a small room. Instead, there is plenty of space, creating the perfect setting to enjoy a cozy evening with your loved ones. The most fantastic thing is the versatility that our kitchen offers. One day, guests can come and enjoy one of our “classic” dishes, such as a juicy steak or a crispy, pan-fried plaice. The following week, they can come and try one of our small “gourmet dishes” that they might have been tempted by when it was served at the neighboring table.

At Rønnede Kro, there is room for everyone, and we want everyone to feel that when they visit us. Whether guests come to enjoy a steak or a 5-course menu with accompanying wines, they will all have the same experience. We cater to those who want a grand and lavish dinner with all the trimmings, as well as those who want a Wiener Schnitzel on a Wednesday evening. It is important to us that everyone feels welcome, and we want to include the locals in our concept.

Furthermore, it is crucial to us that the ingredients for our dishes are of the highest quality, whether it’s a classic or gourmet dish we serve. We make our ingredients extra exclusive by growing our own vegetables. All our vegetables are grown in our garden at Bosei, which is just a short 10-minute drive from the inn. We are personally involved in the selection of seeds and the planning of what and when to grow. The collaboration surrounding the cultivation of our own vegetables also involves Idrætshøjskolen Bosei and Hotel Frederiksminde, and it is our contribution to a more sustainable production.
