Terms and Conditions of Trade and Booking
Here you will find our current terms and conditions for table bookings, parties, conferences, functions, concerts, events, as well as rooms and stays at Rønnede Kro.
1. Table Bookings
Table bookings for up to 8 people
Cancellations or reductions in the number of guests must be made no later than 48 hours before the reservation.
Cancellations can be made by email to info@r-kro.dk or by telephone on 44 22 30 00.
In the event of cancellation less than 48 hours before the booking, or a reduction in the number of guests after this deadline, Rønnede Kro reserves the right to charge a fee of DKK 1,000 per person who cancels or fails to attend.
Table bookings for 9–19 people
Cancellations must be made in writing no later than 14 days before the reservation via info@r-kro.dk.
In the event of cancellation or a reduction in the number of guests of more than 10 per cent after this deadline, Rønnede Kro may charge the following:
- From 13 days up to and including 5 days before the booking: 50 per cent of the agreed per-person price.
- Less than 5 days before the booking: 75% of the agreed per-person price.
This is calculated on the basis of a minimum per-person charge of 1,000 kr.
Cancellations or reductions in the number of guests are only valid once they have been confirmed in writing by Rønnede Kro.
Table bookings for 20 people or more
For bookings of 20 people or more, our terms and conditions for parties, conferences and large events apply.
2. Parties, conferences and large events
Cancellation
The following terms apply to cancellations:
- Up to 60 days before the event: Cancellation free of charge, except for any booking fee.
- 59–30 days before the event: 50 per cent of the total confirmed event amount.
- 29–7 days before the event: 75 per cent of the total confirmed event amount.
- Less than 7 days before the event: 100 per cent of the total confirmed event cost.
Final number of participants
The final and binding number of participants must be notified to Rønnede Kro no later than 8 days before the event.
Minor changes that do not affect the number of participants may, as a general rule, be notified up to 24 hours before the event.
If the number of participants is increased after the deadline, the new number will be binding and will form the basis for the final invoice.
Payment and booking fee
Payment is generally due at the end of the event, unless otherwise agreed.
Rønnede Kro reserves the right to charge a booking fee in connection with the confirmation of the event.
The booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the guest, but will be offset against the total bill upon completion of the event.
3. Events, concerts and functions
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of tickets for concerts, special dinners, wine tastings, New Year’s events and other events with a fixed date, as well as to orders for New Year’s menus and other catering services.
Payment
When booking online, payment is taken immediately.
This is because we reserve seats, ingredients and staff specifically for the event in question.
Right of withdrawal
As a general rule, there is no statutory right of withdrawal when purchasing tickets for events with a fixed date or period, cf. Section 18(2)(12) of the Consumer Contracts Act.
The purchase of food and drink is exempt from the right of withdrawal to the extent provided for in the Consumer Contracts Act.
The purchase is therefore binding, and, as a general rule, the amount will not be refunded if the guest subsequently changes their mind about their booking.
Cancellation by the guest
As a general rule, purchased tickets and bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your tickets to other guests.

Cancellation or change by Rønnede Kro
If an event is cancelled by Rønnede Kro, the full amount paid will be refunded.
In the event of significant changes, such as an event being rescheduled to a different date, we will contact the affected guests directly.
In such cases, guests may choose to attend on the new date or receive a refund of the amount paid.
4. Rooms and stays
These terms and conditions apply to bookings for rooms, weekend stays, weekday stays, inn stays and other accommodation packages at Rønnede Kro.
Payment
When booking rooms and stays online, payment is due at the time of booking.
The total price and the services included in the stay are stated in the booking confirmation.
Bookings of 1–3 rooms
The following applies to bookings of up to 3 rooms:
- Up to 7 days before arrival: The booking can be cancelled free of charge, and any prepayment will be refunded.
- Less than 7 days before arrival: 100 per cent of the total price of the booking will be charged.
- In the event of a no-show: 100 per cent of the total booking price will be charged.
Group bookings of 4 rooms or more
For bookings of 4 rooms or more, the following applies:
- Up to 28 days before arrival: The booking can be cancelled free of charge, and any prepayment will be refunded.
- Less than 28 days before arrival: 100% of the total booking price will be charged.
- In the event of a no-show: 100 per cent of the total booking price will be charged.
A reduction in the number of rooms is considered a partial cancellation and is subject to the above conditions.
Accommodation packages
When booking holiday packages, including inn stays, weekend breaks, weekday stays and other stays with dinner included, the same cancellation terms apply as for standard room bookings.
Any special conditions will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellations must be made in writing to info@r-kro.dk.
The cancellation is valid from the time it is received by Rønnede Kro.
If you wish to change the date, number of guests or any other details of your booking, please feel free to contact us.
Changes are subject to availability and may result in a change to the price.
A change to the dates of your stay after the cancellation deadline has passed cannot be made free of charge.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in: From 3.00 pm on the day of arrival.
Check-out: No later than 11.00 am on the day of departure.
Please contact us in advance if you expect to arrive late.
Breakfast
Breakfast is included where this is specified in the selected room or stay.
Stays with dinner
For stays where dinner is included, the menu is put together by the kitchen using seasonal produce.
Please inform us of any allergies or other dietary requirements at the time of booking so that we can take these into account as best we can.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome in some of our rooms. Please therefore let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog.
A surcharge of DKK 250 per stay applies when bringing a dog.
Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or the inn’s other indoor communal areas.
Smoking
Rønnede Kro is smoke-free indoors, and smoking is therefore not permitted in the rooms.
Smoking in a room will result in a cleaning charge of 5,000 kr.
Damage
Guests are liable for any damage to the room, furnishings or other facilities resulting from deliberate or negligent behaviour during their stay.
5. Force majeure
Rønnede Kro may be entitled to amend or cancel a booking in the event of extraordinary and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the inn’s control, including fire, natural disasters, orders from the authorities or similar circumstances that make it impossible to fulfil the agreed service.
Any refunds and other rights arising from such events shall be dealt with in accordance with applicable legislation.
6. Liability for payment
The person or company making a booking on behalf of a group or a company is liable for payment of the agreed services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
In the case of individual payment, the person making the booking is liable for any outstanding amounts to the extent agreed at the time of booking.
7. Payment options
Rønnede Kro accepts cash, MobilePay and most standard payment cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Diners Club and American Express.
When paying with corporate cards and foreign payment cards, the card issuer’s fee may be added in accordance with applicable legislation.
Any such fees are payable by the customer and will be shown at the time of payment.
